.Daring Daughters: St. Augustine's Feisty Females debuted in July 2002. Anecdotes cover four centuries of women in history. Two volumes of Legends and Tales were published by the History Press in 2005 and 2006. The narratives are based on stories told to the author and printed in the St. Augustine Record during her employment there. In 2007 Harvey won First Place in the Lighthouse Book Award (sponsored by a chapter of the Florida Writers Association) for a Young Adult historic novel. Achievements Other publications by the author include Flagler Hospital: A Gift for Life, a centennial celebration of the city's historic health care center produced in 1989, no longer in print. Also, Florida's First Presbyterians: A Celebration of 175 Years in St. Augustine commemorates the 175th anniversary of the Presbyterian congregation worshiping in the unique and beautiful Memorial Presbyterian Church built by Henry Flagler. ... Two museum exhibits provide text written by Harvey. One is The New Smyrna Colony A Mediterranean Odyssey to East Florida. The exhibit telling of the arrival of the Minorcan community can be seen at the St. Photios Shrine Museum on St. George Street. In 2002 she completed Guardians of the First Coast, an exhibit at the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum, Inc., honoring the men and women of the Coast Guard stationed in St. Augustine during World War II. She arrived in St. Augustine in 1978) when her husband John was assigned to the Florida National Guard as an Army advisor.
